Neal Macrossan Park is another popular inner city park – particularly with families (those with kids and/or dogs). the off-leash area sits ‘below’ the main park space.
The Paddo Skate Bowl (adjacent to the main park) caters to skaters/BMX and scooter riders/inline blades and includes pipes, bowls, banks, hips, ledges, lighting for night-time use of the park and block and rail combos.
The main park has a kids playground, electric BBQ – Basketball/netball facility, Picnic area, Shelter, the Skate park/bowl & Toilets.
I would steer clear of this park in the rain (or immediately after) as there are some pretty big drains throughout that says to me that it gets really wet. (Many of the city’s open-space areas serve dual purposes as storm-water detention basins!!!)
There is a big ‘community feel’ to this park with a sign as you enter asking the locals to help re-grow the grass. It’s this sort of stuff that ,makes a dog park special. The locals there when we visited were friendly and chatty – and the dogs were a mix.
There is no separate ‘small’ dog space.

Address: 8 Moreton St Paddington Queensland 4064 Australia
Parking:
Parking is a bit of a nightmare with most of it being on the street and with so many facilities in the one place they go pretty fast.
