This park is great if you and your dog are looking for a good workout as most of the park is a hill. Lots of trees around and thru the park for shade from the sun and plenty of seating.
It seems to be a park that a lot of ‘small’ dogs go (not surprising for an inner city space). There were no large or medium-sized dogs at the park when we visited – so, if you live in the inner city and have a smaller pup, this may be the perfect spot for you.
The lower portion of the park looks like it may get a bit soggy after heavy rain.
Getting there –
Visiting for the first time it is a little tucked away and can seem a bit confusing. But all you need to do is come along Gregory Terrace (heading towards RNA) and turn left into the main entrance to the aquatic centre, on the map it is Gregory Grove. Once you get to the car park turn right down to the park.
