Hidden World Playground is one of Brisbane’s best kept secrets. Tucked away in a corner of the Bill Brown Sports Reserve, this colourful playground includes climbable creatures like sandworms and huts to explore. Accessibility upgrades include improved manoeuvring space with rubber matting under-surfacing, wider paths of travel (for prams and wheelchairs) and the inclusion of an accessible drinking fountain. The playground has an activity-based play zone with a multi-user wheelchair-accessible rocker, a spring toy, spinning disc and spinning bowl. There is also a sensory play area with musical panels in the central gazebo, interactive panels in the play shelter and scented planting.
