Chica + Co started in our family kitchen with my husband Jose and our three fur babies – Chica, Tapita and Baeya. We wanted to give our four-legged children the best start in life by controlling the ingredients that they eat and to ensure they all remain healthy and happy as they age. (And yes, we are the + Co. the dogs are the company directors lets not fool ourselves here!).
Our friends thought we were barking mad at times, but we doggedly kept at it until we got the recipes and the process down pat. And in 2018 we launched our holistic treats secure in the knowledge that they’re the best thing on the market and that they’re proudly handmade in Brisbane Australia using natural and scientifically proven ingredients and nothing else added but love.
We’re nipping at the traditional dog food industry’s heels with healthy beneficial foods owners are proud to serve to their pooches.
It’s what we leave out that matters.
